TRAINING & PLACEMENT OVERVIEW

To provide students with necessary training in order to enhance their employability and support them with best possible career opportunities which ultimately assist in professional growth where they are able to utilize their knowledge and make significant contribution to the society. Training & Placement (T&P) Department is the hub of all possible interaction between the corporate, industries, Academic/ Research Institutions and others with DR. C. V. RAMAN UNIVERSITY, VAISHALI, BIHAR with the aim of assisting in placements for all eligible students of passing out batches through campus placement. The T&P department also organizes several training programs for the overall growth and development of all the students. The Training and Placement Department of the University also organizes various summer and winter internships and vocational training programs with national and multinational companies to offer students an insight of the corporate life and learn from the real life projects during the duration of training sessions and internship programs. Dr. C. V. Raman University has devoted all its efforts in the overall growth and development of students in skilled professionals of tomorrow.

Placement Process

1.The resumes should be uploaded within the time allotted. 2. Once a student has applied for a company, he/she must attend the Pre-Placement event and once shortlisted, must attend the first phase of the process. 3. The students are expected to behave in a professional manner 4. Students should be in a proper Uniform at the time of Interview conducting at University’s Campus (On campus) and come in a decent formals with black leather shoes if recruitment is held at Company or any other premises (i.e., Off Campus) apart from University. 5. Student misbehaving in any manner with staff of Training and Placement Cell will be debarred from Placement. 6. Students must keep their Identity Card with them at the time of PPT/test/Group Discussion? Interview, and produce the same when demanded by visiting team or their representatives. 7. Students are expected to maintain decorum in all interactions with company officials such as PPT, written exam and so on. 8. CVRU follows ‘One Student-One Job’ policy. Once a student is offered a job, he/she is not allowed to further participate in the placement process until the next offer is 50% more of previous one. The participating companies are thus expected to honour their commitments in this regard relating to packages, profile, location and other such information as informed in the Job Description. Any downgrade from the stated information is strongly discouraged and will be dealt on a case-to-case basis by the Training & Placement Cell. 9.Students are expected to behave with the companies in a courteous manner and should not argue with the recruiters and maintain decorum even under extreme situations. If they face any behavioral issues/problems from the recruiter’s side, they should inform such issues/problems to the Training & Placement Cell. 10. If there is a misconduct incident reported against any student, appropriate disciplinary action may be initiated, including debarring from further participation in the placement process. In case of any dispute related to T & P process, (Student Perspective) the decision of the committee comprising of Dean, HOD & TPO should be considered as final.
