DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

Branches of Chemistry 1. Inorganic Chemistry: Study of inorganic compounds, which are typically derived from minerals and do not contain carbon. 2. Organic Chemistry: Study of organic compounds, which contain carbon and are found in living organisms. 3. Physical Chemistry: Study of the physical properties and behavior of matter at the molecular and atomic level. 4. Analytical Chemistry: Study of the analysis and identification of the chemical composition of substances. 5. Biochemistry: Study of the chemical processes that occur within living organisms.

Facilities

Consultancy

The department of civil engineering offers a valuable consultancy service in material testing. Test results are thoroughly analyzed and comprehensive reports are generated. These reports provide clients with clear understanding of the quality and characteristic of materials being used.

ClassRooms

Academic ambience would be the highest priority for all Class rooms which are designed as per AICTE. Classroom can accommodate 60-70 students. A Digital Projector and Overhead Projector are also available in the classrooms. Each classroom is well ventilated and have comfortable seating arrangement which enhance the student’s concentration and learning inside the classroom

Sports

At CVRU Vaishali, physical fitness and sports are integral to student life. The campus boasts a wide range of sports facilities, including outdoor and indoor courts for cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, and badminton. The well-maintained tracks and fields support athletics, while indoor spaces cater to activities like table tennis and chess

Seminar Hall

The department is equipped with 200 seats seminar hall with projection and audio facilities. Seminar hall provides opportunities to the students to interacts with subject in depth of civil engineering fields

Library

The Central Library has a stock of large volumes of various subjects and International and National journals along with E-journals. Along with the course curriculum books Library also has Aptitude, GATE, Placement sample papers, past question papers, NPTEL videos etc. which acts as a supporting tools for the students academics. The library provides ample space for students and teachers with comfortable seating arrangements along with digital library & reprographics section. Books Lending- After becoming the member, each student will be issued a Library Card. Each student can borrow 3 books at a time & can retain the books for a period of 30 days; the books have to be returned /renewed before the due date. Teaching fraternity can borrow 10 books at a time.
